The first Edition of Nomad Global Village was wrapped up


     Nomad Global Village, the open-air film festival celebrating the cultural diversity of the town of Constanța ended on Monday, 29 August, with the screening of The Cut, directed by Fatih Akin. For three weeks, 15 cinema masterpieces were screened in Piața Ovidiu on a huge screen, using top-notch audio-visual gear.
     Apart from film screenings, there were also artistic moments by ethnic communities in Constanța, traditional dances by Greeks, Macedo-Romanians, Tartars and Lipoven Russians, shorts' screenings, as well as an exhibition of traditional objects crafted by Lipoven Russians.
     Over 8,500 viewers took part to screenings and related activities.
     Nomad Global Village is a project set up by Metropolis Cultural Association, and funded by Constanța Municipality.
