Once again, the Casino Quay and the Ovidiu Square will host the event Open Air Cinema, from July 26 to August 19, 2018. From Thursday to Friday, staring with 21:00, 16 of the most awarded films of all time will be screened outdoor. The access is free, upon seats availability.

The schedule for the evenings of July 26-29 includes:
The Grand Budapest Hotel (directed by Wes Anderson, four awards and four Oscar nominations, winner of the Golden Globe for Best Film),
No Country for Old Men (directed by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen, four Oscar awards and four nominations, two Golden Globe awards and two nominations, one Cannes nomination),
Little Miss Sunshine (directed by Jonathan Dayton, Valerie Faris; it received two Oscar awards: Best Actor in a Supporting Role – Alan Arkin and Best Original Screenplay, two Golden Globe nominations),
Grease ( directed by Randal Kleiser, one Oscar nomination and three Golden Globe nominations).
From August 2 to 5, the viewers will have the chance to watch:
Sleepy Hollow (directed by Tim Burton; it received the Oscar award for best Production Design),
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (directed by Martin McDonagh; it has two Oscar awards and five Oscar nominations, four Golden Globe awards and two nominations, five BAFTA awards and four BAFTA nominations, one award and one nomination at the Venice Festival),
Volver (directed by Pedro Almodovar; it has one Oscar nominations, two Golden globe nominations, two awards and one nomination in Cannes, three awards and two nominations at the European Film Academy Awards),

Bonnie and Clyde (directed by Arthur Penn; it received one Oscar award and 10 nominations and seven Golden Globe nominations),
Taxi Driver (directed by Martin Scorsese; it received the Palme d`Or in Cannes in 1976, one Oscar nomination, the BAFTA award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role – Jodie Foster),
