The Romanian Cultural Institute and the Embassy of Romania in Vienna, together with Let’s CEE Film Festival Vienna, are setting up, on 28 September, from 20.30, at the movie theatre Village Cinema, the Austrian premiere of the documentary
România: patru patrii/Romania: Four Countries (2015, directed by
Alexandru Solomon).
The German language version will be presented, the screening being followed by a Q&A session with writer Norman Manea and producer
Ada Solomon. The event marks the debut of a literary tour of the writer in Austria.
Romania: Four Countries has as protagonists Norman Manea, Gabriela Adameşteanu, Mircea Cărtărescu and Florin Lăzărescu. Four writers, four styles and for different generations; only one country: Romania.
