The Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague invites you to the screening of the documentary
One Century for Romania/
Un secol pentru România which will take place on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, 18:30 at the Italian Institute in Prague (Šporkova 335/14, 118 00 Malá Strana).

The access is free.
The screening will be followed by a conference held by His Excellency University professor Adrian Cioroianu, the ambassador of the Permanent Delegation at UNESCO.
One Century for Romania is a film produced by the Romanian Television which shows the path that Romania had been through the past 100 years, until reaching the moment of fully becoming a part of Europe. During the 50 minutes, the historian Adrian Cioroianu walks the spectators along the past 100 years of history of Romania, a path paved with 10 national priorities of the century, among which: the events that preceded the forming of the Great Romania, the political tensions from the middle of the 20th century, the Second World War, the Communism consolidation as well as the international context which influenced the situation of Romania.
The event is part of a series of events organized by the Czech Center in collaboration with the Václav Havel Library, BOZAR centre for Fine Arts, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux, Culture Action Europe and the Prague EUNIC cluster dedicated to the celebration of the year 1918.
