SFR (Romanian Film Nights) brings forth an event dedicated to the memory of the Jews by commemorating 75 years since the Iași pogrom.
On Thursday, May 11, the documentary
Pe aceștia îi plângem / These Are the Ones We Mourn directed by Oana Lazăr will be screened at the Unirii Museum in Iași. The event will start at 6 p.m. and the admission is free of charge. The screening is made possible with the support of TVR (Romanian Television) Iași and with the media support of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania and of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience and director Oana Lazăr.

Călătoria lui Gruber /
Gruber's Journey, in memoriam director
Radu Gabrea. The director was present at the festival last year, when the locals had the chance of meeting him and of watching
Evrei de vânzare / Jews for Sale. At the end of the screening, the audience will meet the actor Costel Cașcaval for a Q&A session.
Moreover, the event will host a digital exhibition dealing with the issue of the Iași pogrom, made possible with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
