“Silver Pegasus” for Anca Damian, at ANIMATOR Poznań

     The 11th edition of the International Animated Film Festival ANIMATOR (July 6-12, 2018) that took place in Poznań, the biggest animation event in Poland, brought awards to the Romanian productions.
     During the closing gala that happened on July 12, the director Anca Damian received the “Silver Pegasus” award for her short film The Call / Telefonul.
     Another Romanian success was the award that the young filmmaker Veronica Solomon received, the Best Student Film award, for her short film Love Me, fear Me, produced by the Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Film University.
     The festival ended with a special screening (supported by ICR Warsaw) of the film Crulic – The Path to Beyond / Crulic - drumul spre dincolo, in the presence of the director Anca Damian and of the animator Dan Panaitescu.
