These days,
the shootings for
Luca,
Horațiu Mălăele`s latest feature film - take place. It is a psychological thriller, with influences from the films of such authors as Roman Polanski, Francis Ford Coppolaor Martin Scorsese.

“I believe the actor is an immense, alive mirror, in front of which every now and then we fix our life. His existence seems strange, inexplicable and secret. When life, with its conceptual thicket, opposes such a destiny to follow its path, things go crazy. Minimizing things, this is what I want to speak about in this film, about this forced side-slip. And I will do that together with the most talented crew from our film industry house”, the director Horațiu Mălăele says.
Some scenes take place at the Henri Coandă Airport in Otopeni, which made the necessary spaces in the arrival passengers terminal available for the shooting crew.
Valentin Iordache, the spokesman of the Bucharest National Airports Company (CNAB), enhances the importance of the supporting of the Romanian projects by institutions such as the Bucharest National Airports Company: CNAB promotes the

value. It is not only an assertion, but also the name of a program that has been going on for years, especially at the Henri Coandă Airport. During the years (especially during the past ten years), the people who passed through the airport, could attend the premiere of a theatre performance (its action was taking place in an airport, of course), or dance and ballet performances, or music performances of all kinds, including symphonic concerts, or sports contests and demonstrations – chess, judo, swimming – or to books launchings and…culinary demonstrations! We believe that when you can offer support or a necessary space – conventional or not – you should do it. And not only that: you should also get involved!

The success of the programs came also from the enthusiastic involvement and participation of my colleagues. Our recommendation for the institutions and companies that can support such projects: if they are open to such things, because most of the times the necessary budget is zero and if they have employees whose enthusiasm didn`t get lost in the daily routine, they should not hesitate! The image capital is major, both nationally and internationally.”
