LIM-Less Is More Announces the 16 Selected Projects


     The year of its launching, LIM-Less Is More, the European platform for the development of film projects with a limited budget, reveals a new generation of young and  talented filmmakers that wish to express themselves through film productions with a limited budget.
     16 projects (all debuts) and 4 European producers at the beginning of their career were selected out of the 290 applications from 59 countries.
     The aim of LIM is to help screenplay writers and directors-writers to assume these budget limitations even from the beginning of the development process of the screenplay.
     The programme aims at those projects whose costs will move between 100.000-500.000 Euros.
     LIM is structured in 3 steps of residence in the frame of 3 workshops of 1 week each, organized in 3 European countries.
     The 2017 LIM selected projects belong to: Nathalie Biancheri (Animal Instinct, Italy), Simao Cayatte (Sandra, Portugal Pieter Coudyzer  (Banvard, Belgium), Taisia Deeva (Not Here. Not Us., Russia), Dina Duma (Sister, Macedonia), Svetozar Georgiev  & Ivaylo Minov  (Electricity, Bulgaria), Karolis Kaupinis  (Corcovado Borealis, Lithuania), Kim Lysgaard Andersen & Tine Mosegaard (In a teacup, Denmark), Marianela Maldonado  (The Belly of the Whale, Venezuela), Kabir Mehta  (Showdots, India), Dan Radu Mihai  (The Ancelins, Romania), Mauricio Osaki (The paths of my father, Brasil), Tomasz Sliwinski  (Animus, Poland), Rory Stewart (Organs in the grass, Scotland), Giil Taws  (Tro Fañch, France), Leonardo Van Dijl (Stéphanie, Belgium).
     The selected producers in 2017 LIM are: Jelena Miseljic (Montenegro), Frédéric Prémel (France), Gabriela Suciu (Romania), Aneta Zagorska (Poland).
