The films from the selection of the KINOdiseea International Children Film Festival – which reached its 11th edition this year – could be watched in Tulcea, at the Jean Bart Theatre, from November 14 to 17, 2019.

For 10 years, KINOdiseea brought to the attention of the public in Bucharest and in other cities in the country, the latest films for children, in premiere in the South-Eastern Europe or Romania, appreciated by the international audiences and by the film critics over the world, awarded in international festivals, such as Berlin or Sundance, productions with educational and social themes which usually are not introduced in the classic distribution network.
This year, KINOdiseea took place for the second time in Tulcea, with
six international titles which were in the feature film competition for children from 3 to 14 years old, family and teachers. Besides the film screenings, the children were able to attend the acting, directing and stop-motion workshops coordinated by Paul Grec.
The screenings and workshops gathered around 1,800 people.
KINOdiseea is organized by the Metropolis Cultural Association, co-financed by the local budget of the Tulcea Mayor House, co-financed by the Tulcea County Council, in partnership with the Jean Bart Theatre, in partnership with the “Gavrilă Simion” Eco-Museum Research Institute from Tulcea, Esplanada Hotel, the Tulcea County School Inspectorate, the Tulcea Children Palace.
