IPIFF is getting ready for its 11th Edition

The Union of the Film and Audio-visual Producers of Romania – the Association of Employers for the Cinema and Television Production Societies (UPFAR-PSPCT), in partnership with the Romanian Agency for the Management of Audio-visual Works (UPFAR-ARGOA), with the support of the National Filmmaking Centre and of the National Film Archives – the Romanian Cinematheque, is setting up the 11th Edition of IPIFF – Independent Producers Indie Film Festival, between 14 - 17 December, 2016.
For four days, Bucharest-based film lovers will have again the opportunity to view at Cinematheque Eforie the latest independent premieres, as well as a series of shorts of the Film Schools.
Ever since 2013, IPIFF has set as its goal to become the promoter and supporter of INDIE productions, and of the truly independent film producers.
Starting with this edition, IPIFF is going to dedicate a day (17 December) of the Festival programme to meetings with independent producers, with a view to establish together concrete ways for the promotion, encouragement and direct support granted to independent film production.
Furthermore, the organisers are calling for entries for shorts made independently, until 1 December.
