Laura Baron is a professor at the National University of Theatre and Film ”I.L.Caragiale”, a film and commercials producer, through the production company called HiFi Production, an editor, member of the administration council of the Româniafilm, sponsor of the CineMAiubit Film Festival and organizer of the Film 4 Fun Festival. She is a hyperactive person who always has more projects on a roll. She also has “flaws” that she admits: she is too honest and keeps her promises. “If I make a promise, I must respect it, at any costs. It`s a ‘tare’ of education.”
We saw her recently in the documentary Cinema, mon amour, where as an interimary member of the Council of Administration of Româniafilm, she had a conversation with Victor Purice, the administrator of the Dacia Cinema in Piatra Neamț. She said something quite representative for her: “If I had been here when they offered you those seats from Germany, I would have found a way to bring them.”
