Having reached its 2nd edition, the Summer School “Film mai aproape” is looking for 12 young people (from 15 to 19 years old), who are passionate about film, photography or video editing.
The first edition of the Summer School brought young people from all over the country to Bacău; they worked together with their four trainers and they made their own short films, which later on
were viewed and awarded by a jury.
This year, from August 18 to 26, the participants will be guided by five trainers: Ovidiu Ungureanu (coordinator of the Cromatique,Studio, Bacău), Alex Lungu (editing and animation), Ovidiu Grămesc (cinematographer), Alexandru Baltă (lighting design) and Ionel Viorel Cojan (photographer). The program includes
masterclasses and the participants,together with their trainers, will go through the entire process of making a film, from writing the screenplay,
until the post-production stage.
The short films having a preset concept will be screened during the festival and the jury will give the awards for: the Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, best Editing.
In order to be part of the Summer School Film mai aproape, you will have to send your CV together with a sketch/ draft of a screenplay of maximum 5 pages to the address filmmaiaproape@gmail.com until August 5, 2018, 18:00. The cost of the entire participation during the festival (accommodation, meals and attending the
masterclasses) is 150 Ron.
