Aristoteles Workshop is dedicated to young movie professionals from Europe with a background in film directing, cinematography and editing. It’s a documentary film workshop held annually destined to help 12 young professionals make their own documentary. Four groups of three international participants – a director, a DP and an editor – have 30 days to make a 30 minutes long documentary.
Applications should be sent by May 1st, 2017, as specified on the
AW official website, where you can read more about it.
The 12th edition welcomes as main trainer the French documentary filmmaker
Thierry Garrel, who was for over 20 years Head of Arte France’s Documentary Department and Head of Documentaries and Archives at the Institut National de l’Audiovisuel (INA).
The workshop is organized for 12 years now by the actor
Dan Nuțu together with Cristina Hoffman, member of the selection committee for the Berlin and Cannes film festivals.
