The 7th edition of the Romanian Cinema Days, presented by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Madrid in partnership with the Barcelona Cinematheque, will take place in Barcelona (from March 22 till April), Valencia (April), Córdoba (May), Granada (May) and Murcia (June).

The screening of
Câini / Dogs directed by
Bogdan Mirică opens the festival on March 22 in Barcelona (in-person appearance of the filmmaker), followed by other six features: the two adaptations of the novella „Moara cu noroc” / “The Mill of Luck and Plenty”,
La moara cu noroc and
Orizont,
Două lozuri / Two Lottery Tickets (directed by
Paul Negoescu),
Ilegitim / Ilegitimate (directed by
Adrian Sitaru),
Dincolo de calea ferată / By the Rails (directed by
Cătălin Mitulescu) and
Cinema, mon amour (directed by
Alexandru Belc).
The Romanian short films
O noapte în Tokoriki / A Night in Tokoriki (directed by
Roxana Stroe),
O faptă bună / A Random Act of Kindness (directed by
Andrei Gruzsniczki),
Toate fluviile curg în mare / All Rivers Return to the Sea (directed by Alexandru Badea),
Mă cheamă Costin / My Name Is Costin (directed by
Radu Potcoavă) and
4:15 PM Sfârșitul lumii / 4:15 PM The End of the World (directed by Cătălin Rotaru and Gabi Virginia Șarga) will also be part of the programme.
In addition to the festival’s programme of film screenings, ICR Madrid also presents a masterclass that is to be given by Bogdan Mirică at the International Film School in Barcelona on March 23.
