Marona`s Fantastic Tale / Extraordinara călătorie a Maronei,
Anca Damian`s latest animated film, will be distributed in North America by the New York distributor Gkids.
According to Variety, the negotiations
ceput started before the Annecy Animation Film Festival (June 10 – 15, 2019) and the deal was sealed yesterday.
Marona`s Fantastic Tale is a Romania-France-Belgium co-production, produced by Aparte Film, Sacrebleu Production and Minds Meet, with a screenplay written by
Anghel Damian. The animation is a modern tale about unconditional love and sacrifice. Marona, the little dog with a heart-shaped nose, born out of a love story between an Argentinian dog and an attractive mixed breed leaves profound marks in the lives of her owners, who in turn, welcome her to their families.
