UCIN Awards Gala to be held on 24 April 2017

     Reaching its 45th Edition, UCIN Awards Gala is to take place on Monday, 24 April, at the Studio Hall of the National Theatre in Bucharest.

     The event, organised by the Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN) and produced by Revolver, financed by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with the National Filmmaking Centre, will start at 18:00, when numerous guests, filmmakers, celebrities and personalities of the Romanian cultural stage will step on the red carpet. The performances in Romanian cinema obtained over the last year will be rewarded starting at 18:40.
     This year's edition will have two juries: one for nominations, made of film critics and historians, members of the Romanian Filmmakers Union, and the current edition jury made up of personalities of the Romanian cultural world.
     Film critics and historians Dana Duma, Cristina Corciovescu, Marilena Ilieşiu, Magda Mihăilescu and Mihai Fulger were part of the jury that made the nominations to UCIN 2017 Awards.
