On Monday night, 28 March, in the Great Hall of I.L. Caragiale National Theatre, the
tenth Edition of Gopo Awards Gala is to unfold, a yearly event rewarding the greatest achievements in Romanian film industry. The event will be hosted by actor Alexandru Bogdan.
Gopo Awards Gala is to be broadcast live, starting at 19.00, on TVR 2, TVR HD and on Radio Romania Cultural.
Among the actors present on the stage to hand out the much-desired statuettes, mention should be made of:
Ada Condeescu, Levente Molnár,
Bogdan Dumitrache,
Alina Grigore, Bogdan Albulescu,
Emilia Dobrin,
Oana Pellea.
Apart from the most expected trophies of the evening (
Best Film,
Best Director), this evening's programme will also include
The Award for Entire Career – granted to actor
Florin Piersic,
The Gopo Award for Entire Performing Activity – granted to actor
Constantin Drăgănescu, as well as
The Special Award, to be handed out to stuntman Paul Fister.
