The Méliès Garden, the Vertigo Cinema and the Karloff Hall await the film lovers to go see the horror films, while the Fantastic Workshops will challenge the creativity and the humour of the fans of the genre. The traditional and hand-made products fair will bring treats from the area, the camping of the festival will also be the space for many games and the nights will end with stories told at “The Pale” Terrace.
Mi Gran Noche, the latest feature film of the famous Spanish director Álex de la Iglesia will officially open the festival, at the Méliès Garden, on Thursday evening, starting with 9 o`clock p.m. The film is one of the six feature films that are in the competition for the “Full Moon” Trophy.
A special event will be the cine-concert of the Foley`Ala band which will take place on Friday, starting with 9 o`clock p.m. at the Méliès Garden. The band will accompany with music and sound effects (live foley) the screening of the silent horror film

The Biertan Fantastic Workshops will get started on Friday and Saturday, from 12.00 p.m. The participants will have the chance to make pendants, masks, malefic horns, mummy-jars, funny phantoms, monsters made of PETs, fantastic stones and projectors.

The Possessed Projectionist, the
ghost hunt which will put to test the perspicacity of the hunters, returns to Biertan on Friday and on Saturday. This year, the participants will have the chance to find out the full story of this character that is part of the local legend already. On their way, they must decipher maps of the treasure and find the clues hidden in cryptograms and learn the secrets of some magic potions. Submissions start on Thursday.
Ingenious
escape rooms will be placed in different parts of Biertan. In the already famous “The Dungeon”, the teams must find the clues hidden in the room, open locks, decipher codes and solve the puzzle, in order to escape the dungeon in 60 minutes.
And for the first time in Romania, Escapemyroom.ro presents a Real Escape Game, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, based on the latest book from the Harry Potter series, written by J.K.Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne. Its mysteries will be revealed by the brave ones in a Biertan cellar.
