Two Romanian shorts at Cannes 2016

The Cannes Festival announced the titles of the Shorts Competition, as well as this year's Cinéfondation Selection.
Thus, within the Shorts official Competition, the feature 4:15 p.m. sfârșitul lumii (4:15 p.m. The End of the World) was selected, directed by Cătălin Rotaru and Gabi Virginia Sarga, while to Cinéfondation, Alexandru Badea will be a participant with his feature Toate fluviile curg în mare (All Rivers Run to the Sea) („I.L. Caragiale” Theatre and Film Academy).
Cinéfondation Selection is part of the official selection and includes 15 short and medium-length features produced by film schools all around the world, three of them being awarded prizes at the end of the Festival.
The director of photography of the two above-mentioned shorts was Tudor Platon. In 2014, at the Victoria Film Festival, he told us during an interview how he made the cinematography for the documentary City Tour, and in 2015, at TIFF, he talked to us about his work at the short In the house, in a material that can be accessed here.
