“Two Lottery Tickets”, at Zürich International Film Festival


     Două lozuri/Two Lottery Tickets (directed by Paul Negoescu) will be internationally premiered at the Zürich International Film Festival (22 September – 2 October), being included in the feature-length competition.
     The script, inspired by the short story with the same name by Ion Luca Caragiale, and wrote by Paul Negoescu, tells the story of three provincial guys (Dinel, Sile and Pompiliu) who, after finding out they won the big lottery prize, discover they cannot find the ticket, so they have to embark on a journey to recover it. The film stars, in the leading roles, actors Dragoş BucurDorian Boguţă snd Alexandru Papadopol, while the supporting roles are played by graduates of the Acting School actoriedefilm.ro.      The screenings held on 26 September and 28 September will be attended by Paul Negoescu (director), Ana Drăghici (director of cinematography), Dorian Boguţă (producer and actor), and and Ovidiu Dunel-Stancu (executive producer). The Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna is sponsoring the crew's attendance to the festival.
     Zürich International Film Festival will also present the feature Bacalaureat/Graduation (2016, directed by Cristian Mungiu). The screenings will be held on 29 September (with actor Adrian Titieni attending), and on 2 October.
