At the 6th edition of the TransCultural Exchange International Conference on Opportunities in the Arts: Exploring New Horizons (February 22nd-24th, 2018), the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York presents the project

“NOMADAPTATION. Considering the integration of migration-related topics in contemporary art practices”, an artist talk held by the Romanian artist and filmmaker
Daniel Djamo. The project includes the screening of a few excerpts from his documentaries. The event is organized by the Laval University in Quebec.
Daniel Djamo is a Romanian young visual artist and filmmaker interested in personal and group histories and in national identity. His works combine film with performance and video art and installation with photography in order to evoke the past and to emphasize “the now”. Currently he is a PhD candidate at the UNarte Bucharest National University of Arts (he has the Bachelor of arts and Master of arts degrees of the same university).
