A music marathon lasting over four hours took place in, at Palais des Congrès Hall, on Sunday, 9 October, from 17, attended by 3,700 viewers.

Under the baton of Vladimir Cosma, there were performances by the Romanian Youth Orchestra, founded by Romanian musician Marin Cazacu, by the Paris Universities Choir, as well as by Romanian and foreign artists, special guests of Maestro Vladimir Cosma: soprano Irina Baianț, Marius Preda, at the cymbal, Cezar Cazanoi at pan-pipe and flute, Emil Bizga, at trumpet, Greg Zlap, at harmonica, Richard Sanderson, voice.
50 years of successful career for Vladimir Cosma and a premiere-tour with young Romanian artists getting standing ovations from the audience, a Romanian orchestra made up of 75 musicians aged between 17 – 29, whose name was changed especially for this tour into the National Orchestra of Romania. Vladimir Cosma is a Romanian composer, violinist and conductor known world-wide for his film and television music compositions, for over 400 films.
The tour was supported and promoted by the management of the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR), with the contribution of ICR Paris and of the Romanian Embassy in Paris. The tour will carry on between 7-17 February, 2017, with another 9 concerts, in France and Geneva (Switzerland).
