Christopher Landry was the special guest of the
Arad local edition of the American Independent Film Festival. The American-born director assistant met the audience of Arad on April 28, 2018, starting with 18:00.
A producer and assistant director of American origin, Christopher Landry has had a career of 30 years in the film industry, out of which 20 were spent in Romania. During all those years, he has collaborated on more than 100 film and TV productions,
being the right hand of such directors as John Boorman, Alexandre Aja, Wes Craven, Kevin Reynolds or Paul Schrader.
In 2013, Christopher was nominated by the Directors Guild of America for “outstanding achievement in movies for television”, as part of the directors team on the mini-series Hatfields & McCoys. He is also the author of the book “Marele ecran in epoca de aur”, a history of the Romanian film poster in the Communist times.
