The “Romanian Film Caravan” will arrive in Zalău (10-12 May), with film adaptations after classical short stories or novels, within the
educational program “Books and Films” developed by the Cultura Association and by MDV Audio Studio.

The project includes the following adaptations:
Veronica se întoarce/Veronica Returns,
Mama/Mother,
Saltimbancii/The Clowns,
Zâmbet de soare/Sunshine Smile,
Amintiri din copilărie/Memories from Childhood (directed by
Elisabeta Bostan),
Dumbrava minunată/The Wonderful Grove (directed by
Gheorghe Naghi),
Baltagul/The Hatchet (directed by
Mircea Mureşan),
Pintea (directed by
Mircea Moldovan).
The program will be supplemented by outdoors screenings, to be held at the Amphitheatre of the Central Municipal Park, from 20.30, within the section „Masterpieces of the national cinematography”. The tree films included are:
Nunta mută/Mute Wedding (directed by
Horațiu Mălăele),
Live (directed by
Vlad Păunescu) and
Concertul/The Concert (directed by
Radu Mihăileanu).
Admission will be free of charge.
