„Ana, mon amour” – the Stockholm premiere

      
ICR Stockholm, in collaboration with the Music and Film Library of the Konserthuset Stadsteatern, presents the Stockholm premiere of the Romanian film Ana, mon amour (directed by Călin Peter Netzer). The screening will take place on April 25, 2018, starting with 18:30 at the Klarabiografen Cinema and the entrance is free.
The screening of the film is part 

of the New European Cinema project, an initiative of the Music and Film Library of the Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, meant to present the Swedish audience the themes of the contemporary European cinema. In the first part of this year the project includes the screening of films from Germany, France, Spain and Romania. What are the so-called characteristics of the new wave? What themes and what stories are h

ighlighted? What do the current European films have in common and how are the realities of the present day Europe translated on screen by the different filmmakers, no matter what their origins are? These questions represent the starting point of the event in Stockholm. The screening of each film is preceded by a short introduction about the current cinema of each country.
