Oana Radu is a cultural manager with a Master`s Degree from the Dijon Business School in France. She was involved in organizing the Romanian Film Festival in New York, as part of the Romanian Cultural Institute team. Since 2012 she is one of the founding members of the Romanian Film Initiative and of the Film ETC Association, those who took over the event by a private initiative and turned it into Making Waves, the most important Romanian film festival in New York. The team is made of Corina Șuteu, Oana Radu, Mihai Chirilov, Andi Vasluianu, ElviraLupșa.
It`s been three years since Oana Radu, Mihai Chirilov and Mona Nicoară have been organizing the fArad Documentary Film Festival, in partnership with 111 Film, under the patronage of the Mayor House of Arad.
The experience she has acquired in organizing those events qualified her to be a part of the working group for changing the Film Law, organized by the Ministry of Culture.
