“Fault Condition”, award winner at Shanghai IFF 2017

     Scurtcircuit / Fault Condition (directed by Cătălin Saizescu) won Sunday night the Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award, at the Shanghai International Film Festival, that took place from 17 to 26 June, 2017.

     The film was internationally premiered at Shanghai IFF, attended by several members of the crew: Cătălin Saizescu, Maruca Băiașu, Manuel Nicolae, Georgiana Saizescu, Carmen Tripăduș and Silviu Tripăduș.
     Inspired by the tragic event in August 2010, in Bucharest, when several premature newly born babies died in the fire that engulfed the neonatology intensive care unit of the Giulești maternity hospital, Fault Condition tells the love story of two teenagers, Melania and Emi, caught in the whirlwind of the catastrophe.
