Screening In Memoriam Radu Gabrea, at Romanian Film Weeks in Strasbourg

     On Saturday, 11 February, at 20:00, the Romanian Cultural Institute of Brussels is to pay homages to director Radu Gabrea, by screening his documentary  Împărăteasa roșie - Viața și Aventurile Anei Pauker / Red Queen – Life and Adventures of Ana Pauker (2016), within the Romanian Film Weeks in Strasbourg, 8 February - 14 Marc 2017.

     “Radu is my good old friend, we used to sit together at Eurimages, we organised together the first edition of the Romanian Film Weeks at Odyssée theatre house. He was my first Romanian guest to this programme, and we were looking forward to see each other again at the screening of his last documentary about Ana Pauker. I am sad to announce now this screening in memoriam, after talking to him every night since the beginning of this Romanian film edition about the debate we were preparing,” Faruk Gunaltay, manager of the Cinematheque confessed on Thursday night, 9 February, after finding out the director had passed away.
