“The Memorial of Pain” – 25 years at Cinema Elvire Popescu

     The Romanian Filmmakers Union, in partnership with the Romanian Television Station – TVR 2 and with the French Institute, are organising “The Memorial of Pain – 25 years”, to be held on Friday, 2 September, at 17.00, at Cinema “Elvire Popescu” of the French Institute.

     The event marks the anniversary of 25 years since the first broadcasting of the series Memorialul durerii, o istorie care nu se învață la școală / The Memorial of Pain, a history not taught in school (directed by Lucia Hossu Longin) at the Romanian public television station. During this meeting, the filmmakers' crew is to be granted excellency diplomas.
     The event will be attended by Ana Blandiana, Marius Oprea, by Academician Nicolae Breban, by Associate Professor Dr. Sorin Ilieșiu, University Professor Dr. Manuela Cernat, Octavian Bjoza and by University Professor Dr. Laurențiu Damian.
