„Licu, A Romanian Story”, the national premiere at the One World România
The documentary Licu, a Romanian Story/Licu, o poveste românească, directed by Ana Dumitrescu, the winner of the Golden Dove Trophy of the DOK International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film, has the national premiere on March 23, 2018, during the One World Romania International Human Rights &Documentary Festival. Included in the “Past Present” section, the film will be presented on March 23 and 25. The screenings will take place at the Eforie Cinemateque – on Friday, March 23, from 20:30 and on Sunday, March 25, since 18:30.
The documentary written and directed by Ana Dumitrescu and produced by the Jules et Films company, speaks about the Romania of the past century, seen through the eyes of a man lost in history. The main character, Liviu Canter, a 92 years old man, outlived many major historical events. The film will be released in the Romanian cinemas on August 24, 2018, by ROLLERCOASTER PR; internationally, it is distributed by Taskovski Films.
The production, which at the end of last year, received the Golden Dove Trophy of the DOK Lepizig Festival was also presented at the 14th edition of the Zagreb Film Festival, on March 2, 2018.
