Romanian Films in Competition at Sarajevo IFF 2018


     In the feature film competition of the Sarajevo International Film Festival (August 10-17, 2018), three Romanian films were selected. Dog / Câine (directed by Florin Șerban) and One and a Half Prince / Un prinț și jumătate (directed by Ana Lungu) have their world premiere during this event, while Lemonade / Luna de miere (directed by Ioana Uricaru) will have its regional premiere.
     In the short film competition two films were included: Morski Briz (directed by Cecilia Ștefănescu) and Everything is Far Away / Totul e foarte departe (directed by Emanuel Pârvu). 16 Blows / 16 lovituri (directed by Alexandru Badea) is included in the Student Film program.
     Touch me Not / Nu mă atinge-mă (directed by Adina Pintilie) and  Infinite Football / Fotbal infinit (directed by Corneliu Porumboiu) will be screened in the In Focus section.
     The documentary The Chalice (directed by Cătălina Tesar, producer Anda Ionescu – Haute Film) is part of the Docu Rough Cut Boutique.
     The Romanian participants at the Talents Sarajevo program are: Alfredo Constantin Minea and Pavel Ulici (actors), Andreea Lăcătuș (director), Ana-Maria Voicu (producer), Liana Diana Plopeanu and Răzvan Dutchevici (screenwriters), Letiția Ștefănescu(editor) and Victor Morosoff (filmcritic).
