The feature was selected in the “East of the West” competition, a section dedicated to directors at their first or second film. The competition includes productions from the Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Greece, Turkey, and from countries of the former Soviet bloc. Double tells the story of George, an almost successful architect, in an almost failed relationship, and living an almost choking life. When your life is a perpetual deadline, you become the prisoner of your own existence. The cast is made up of actors Bogdan Dumitrache, Maria Dinulescu, Corina Moise, Dorian Boguţă, Teodor Corban, Andrei Mateiu, Virgil Aioanei, Cosmina Stratan, Ștefana Samfira.
In România, the feature will be launched in movie theatres on 17 June, being distributed by microFILM.
