Graduate of the Aix-Marseille University Faculty of Sciences (2003, France) and of the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L.Caragiale” (UNATC) Faculty of Film – Film Directing (2007). MFA in Film Directing at UNATC (2013).
He has written and directed the short films Datorie / Duty (2006, Award for Best Fiction Film in Teheran), Sinopsis docu-dramă (2007, ProCinema Award), Fabulosul destin al lui Toma Cuzin / The Fabulous Destiny of Toma Cuzin (2009, Grand Prix at Best Film Festival) and După-amiază în Drumul Taberei / Afternoon in Drumul Taberei (2011). He has directed the TV show Profil, Poveste, Personaj (2011) for TVR Cultural. He is the co-writer of the feature O lună în Thailanda / A Month in Thailand (2012) directed by Paul Negoescu and selected at the Settimana Internazionale della Critica of the Venice Film Festival.The documentary Colţuri de Bucureşti was part of the project Marseille - Provence 2013 and it had its international premiere at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Marseille in October 2013.
