Tudor Chirilă

Born: 28.05.1974 in Bucharest

Graduate of the "I.L.Caragiale" National University of Theatre and Film (class of 1996, prof. Florin Zamfirescu. He was the lead-singer of the band VamaVeche (founded in 1996)until the band broke up. In 2006 he founded the band Vama. Jury member for the TV show The Voice of Romania broadcast by ProTv.

Trivia

He is the son of the actress Iarina Demian and of the journalist Ioan Chirilă. He has had the benefit of theatre training from his mother and of musical training from his father.
In 2004 he received the UNITER Award for Best Actor for his part in “Twelfth Night”.
He was the front man and lead-singer of the band Vama Veche. In 2006 the band broke up. The same year, Tudor Chirilă founded the band Vama.
In 2012 he published a book, entitled “Exerciții de echilibru”, made from texts previously published on his personal blog.
He had a relationship with Dorina Chiriac and Andreea Raicu. In 2012 he married Iulia Mîzgan with whom he has a child.
