Graduate of the Institute of Theatre and Film "I.L.Caragiale" (year 1980, class Elisabeta Bostan). “With his irrepressible propensity towards abstraction, a clear cut tendency towards the savant elaboration of his expression, with his violent experimentalism, Ovidiu Bose Pastina can be considered a guerilla soldier “ ( George Littera - “Pages About Film”).

Father of film director Iacob Paștina and of actor Iosif Paștina.
Artistic Manager at Pro TV, Prima TV, Reality TV
He was supposed to direct his first long feature Tatăl Fantomă / The Phantom Father based on a screenplay by his friend, Lucian Georgescu (who directed the film himself after O.B.Pastina’s passing)
The Intl. Film Festival ”ANONIMUL” awards the well known “Ovidiu Bose Pastina” prize.
