Oana Ghiocel

She immigrated to the United States when she was a teen with her family. Oana obtained a masters degree in documentary film & production from Emerson College in Boston, Mass. Her focus is on science, adventure, and nature as well as drama stories especially on disadvantaged communities and unexplored subject matter. She has produced three feature documentaries, The Mystery of the Carpathian Sphinx (2014), The Bear Cult (2015), and The Riddle of the Carpathian Sphinx (2020.) Her work has been seen by millions of viewers and her films have been screened around the world in United States, Canada, Europe. She lives and works in Romania and US, conducting her work on both continents.
