Graduate of the “ I L Caragiale” Theatre and Film Academy in Bucharest. Francis Ford Coppola hires him for the shooting of Youth Without Youth, filmed in Romania, in 2006.He continues to work with Coppola for Tetro (2009) and Twixt (2011). He is multi prized for the photography of Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master. Lives and works in the USA.
