As early as his highschool years he performs at the Drama Theatre in Braşov. Influenced by his brother, Andrei, an actor student, he passes his admission exam at the ”I.L.Caragiale” Theatre and Film Academy in Bucharest which he graduates in 1982. He is an actor at the Small Theatre, Comedy Theatre, L.S. Bulandra Theatre in Bucharest.
In 1990 he is offered the part of “The Magician” in a very successful TV show for children, “Abracadabra”. Between 1995-2000 the show migrates from the Romanian TV to Pro TV. In 2001 he initiates THE NATIONAL THEATRE FOR CHILDREN,
an independent project of the “Abracadabra” Foundation which he runs. This initiative is co-produced by the National “I.L.Caragiale” Theatre in Bucharest.
