Liviu Tofan

- Born: 00.00.1948 in Bucharest
Graduate of nr 21 German High School and of the Faculty of Philology/ Bucharest University- the German-English section. In 1973 he emigrates to Germany and works as a journalist with Radio Free Europe. In 1980 he becomes head of the news dpt. then deputy manager of the Romanian section of the station. Starting 1991 he is the head of the Romania based Dpt of the radio station till 1994. In 2008 he becomes the manager of the Recent History Romanian Institute (IRIR).
