- Married since 2008 to the actress Medeea Marinescu. They have two sons together, Luca (born in 2009), and Filip (born on June 27, 2016).
- George Dăscălescu (Cameraman), Cristian Țurcanu (Cameraman) and Marius Panduru (Cinematographer) have worked together on the film The Rest Is Silence/ Restul e tăcere directed by Nae Caranfil and on Weekend with my Mother/ Weekend cu mama directed by Stere Gulea.
