Graduate of the Hyperion University-Theatre Dpt. in Bucharest (class of 2004, professor Virgil Ogășanu). Known under the stage name of Jojo, as a model and singer. She’s an actress and TV star.
Trivia
Aged 15 she’s discovered by her first agent who’ll nickname her Jojo. She becomes the lead singer of the dance band U-nite and she’ll perform within for 4 years-first album Dance Attack.
In 2001 she signs with “Way Press International” and becomes the image of an European antidrug campaign.
Twice invited at Cannes Film Festival and three times at the Rose’s Ball in Monaco to promote the doc Fallen Angels made during her trips within the campaign in France, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Afganistan. She is congratulated by HRH Albert de Monaco for her work.
Born Catalina Ionescu, she was married to actor Ionut Grama (2009-2012). They have a boy.
In 2014 she marries actor Paul Ipate. They have a girl.
