Graduate of the “I.L. Caragiale” Film and Theatre Academy ( class of 1991, professor Mircea Albulescu). He started by translating from English contemporary plays, part of them being produced independently.
A manifest show for the independent theatre, the one man show ‘Sex, Drugs and Rock’n Roll” by Eric Bogosian brought him the Award for Best Actor of the year 2002 at the UNITER Gala .In 2004 he founded the production company Artificial Horizon and was the writer, director and producer of the short Advertising / Special Prize of the Jury, at the Alternative Film Festival in Targu Mures 2004, and of the full length features Fix Alert (Special Prize of the Jury at B-Est Film Festival, 2005; Best Debut-UCIN Awards, 2006 ) and Eminescu vs Eminem.
As an actor he played in Călătoria lui Gruber / Gruber’s Journey by Radu Gabrea, Countertime 2, by Jesus del Cerro, Bibliotheque Pascal by Hajdu Szabolcs, Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola.In 2013 he launched, as a director, the full length feature Killing Time.
