This year, The Romanian Cultural Institute in Warsaw takes part again in the cultural events programme dedicated to the International Francophonie Day, organizing - for the first time – Romanian events in two countries, Poland and Estonia.

During the entire month of March, the Francophonie is celebrated by means of different cultural, artistic and educational events, in order to better promote the French language and also to strengthen the cooperation and solidarity between countries. These events include poetry evenings, conferences, lectures, theatre performances, film screenings, all these accompanied by a rich educational program.
One of the events organized in the capitals of Poland and Estonia will be the Francophone Film Festival, where the Romanian Cultural Institute of Warsaw will participate with the feature film
The Miracle of Tekir/Miracolul din Tekir, directed by
Ruxandra Zenide. The screenings will take place at the Prom Kultury Center in Warsaw on March, 8, 2018 and at the Sopru Cinema in Tallin, on March, 20. The festivals will also include screenings of other productions from Canada, Switzerland, Walonie-Bruxelle, France, Morocco, Tunis, Luxemburg (in Warsaw) and from France, Switzerland, Canada, Greece and Estonia (in Talinn). The access to these screenings is free. In Poland, the Francophone Film Caravan will reach more cities in April and the Romanian film will be screened in the city of Płock as well.
Another Romanian contribution to the Month of Francophonie in Warsaw will be the
Evening of the Francophone tastes. On this occasion, each participant country presents specific culinary products that are recognizable on the gastronomic map of the Francophone countries. The Romanian stand will be present with many traditional recipes and regional dishes.
The program will be organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute of Warsaw together with the Romanian embassies in Poland and Estonia.
