“Virgo”, a Documentary in the Competition of the 2018 Piatra Film Festival

     After having been screend at the 2018 edition of the Pelicam Film Festival, Virgo, made by Vlad Săcăleanu and Lise Hendrix, was selected in this year`s competition of the Filmul de Piatra.
     An independent production, the film was shot and directed by the two filmmakers about the virgin forest of Romania, an ecosystem that we don`t protect. Virgo intends to be a manifesto which wants to assert the need to preserve one of the last forest areas in Europe. The filmmakers crossed 5,000 Km in two months, shooting in 70 localities. The message is supported by music, with no voice over.
     Vlad Săcăleanu and Lise Hendrix met at a film school in Norway. They work together and sign under the name Volod Hendrix.
