“The Call”, Screened at Paris Cineurop’

     On May 4 and 5, 2019, the Paris City Hall organizes the Fete de l`Europe festival – a multitude of pluridisciplinary events which will be co-organized with the Network of European Cultural Institutes in Paris (EUNIC) and the Forum of Foreign Cultural Institutes in Paris (FICEP). The Romanian Cultural Institute in Paris, a member of these important cultural networks, participates with four events.
     On Saturday, May 4, 2019, as part of the PARIS CINEUROP` festival, on the occasion of the screening of the film awarded with the LUX European Award (the film award of the European Parliament), ICR Paris, FICEP, the Bureau of the European Parliament in Paris and the Representation of the European Commission in Paris bring a selection of European short films. Their main topic is the involvement of women in the society and of their fight for their own ideals. Romania will be represented by the film suggested by ICR Paris: The Call/Telefonul, by Anca Damian. The screenings will take place at the Paris City Hall (Auditorium, 5 rue Lobau, Paris 75004).
