The second edition of Câmpulung Film Fest, the comparative film festival in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, County of Suceava, will be held this year between 25-27 August 2017.
The festival is screening in a comparative manner films made by two film schools from different countries, this year being the guests being the University of Columbia (USA.) and La Femis (France).
Over the three festival days, the audience will have the chance to view 20 shorts, 2 documentaries and 15 animation shorts, grouped in packs of two shorts (one from each of the two invited schools) and an animation.
The second edition will also set up special events, among which a photography exhibition comparing various aspects of the life in the two guest countries, a cine-concert and talks between the audience and the makers of the shorts in the festival's selection.
The screenings will take place at the Performance Hall of „Dragoș Vodă” National College, at the former Luceafărul movie theatre and outdoors, on the ski track.
Câmpulung Film Fest is organised by Hasmațuchi Association, in partnership with the Town Hall of the Municipality of Câmpulung Moldovenesc, and is co-financed by the National Cultural Fund Administration (AFCN).
