Sieranevada, directed by
Cristi Puiu, will be screened at ANONIMUL Festival on Tuesday, 9 August, in the opening of the Romanian Film Night, with the director, the producer
Anca Puiu and other members of the crew in attendance.

Cristi Puiu returns to ANONIMUL after taking part to the Shorts Competition at the Festival's first edition, in 2004, with
Un cartuș de Kent și un pachet de cafea/A Carton of Kent and a Pack of Coffee (winner of the Golden Bear for Best Short in Berlin 2004). For his role in this short,
Victor Rebengiuc got that year the ANONIMUL Jury Special Prize.
Also within this Festival, another Romanian film present this year in Cannes will be screened:
Câini/Dogs, the feature debut by director
Bogdan Mirică.
Paul Negoescu comes to ANONIMUL with his second feature-length film:
Două lozuri/Two Lottery
Tickets, starring
Dorian Boguţă,
Dragoş Bucur and
Alexandru Papadopol . The film will be released in theatres on 7 October.
The shorts
Ninel (directed by Constantin Popescu) and
Oase pentru Otto/Bones for Otto (directed by
Matei Lucaci-Grunberg), after a screenplay signed by
Lia Bugnar, will be screened within the Romanian Film Night as well.
ANONIMUL 13 will also screen Romanian productions already distributed in theatres:
Ilegitim/Illegitimate (directed by
Adrian Sitaru), winner of C.I.C.A.E Award at Berlinale 2016;
Dublu/Double, the debut feature by director Catrinel Dănăiață, screened at the East of the West Competition of Karlovy Vary Film Festival, and
03.ByPass (directed by
Nap Toader).
The Romanian production
Miracolul din Tekir/The Miracle of Tekir (directed by
Ruxandra Zenide),
as well as another 14 Romanian shorts were included in the competition sections.
The 13th Edition of ANONIMUL International Independent Film Festival will unfold between 8-14 August 2016, in Sfântu Gheorghe, in the Danube Delta.
