Season 2 of TV series “Shadows” to be premiered this year

     The first season of TV series Umbre / Shadows, that was premiered in December 2014, enjoyed incontestable audience success, becoming the most appreciated HBO production made in Romania.

     The end of the first season left Relu (Şerban Pavlu) in a moment where, in order to escape the complicated situation he was in, he made a deal with Toma (Dorel Vişan) – head of Constanța city mafia – agreeing to off Căpitanu’ (the Captain) (Doru Ana). But once he found out his daughter, Magda (Mădălina Craiu), is waiting a baby from Teddy (Gabriel Huian), Captain's son, would Relu be still able to keep his end of the bargain and what consequences would his decisions have? To complicate things even more, a new player is added to the equation – Emilian – a cop with a volatile personality who has the cover of law to commit illegal stuff. When things seem to totally get out of control, from Spain enters Nicu, Captain's brother and the true head of Bucharest interlope world.   
     The second season of TV series Shadows is integrally written by director and screenwriter Bogdan Mirică, who is also co-director together with Igor Cobileanski. Director of photography is Andrei Butică, and Adam Balasz is responsible for composing the music.
     From HBO Europe, executive producers are Antony Root, Wayne Henry and Steve Mathews, while Alina David is the producer.
     The production house that made both seasons of the TV series is Multi Media Est, represented by Dragoș Vîlcu and Valentin Antofi.
