Film Evenings at the Romanian Comedy Festival, between 21 and 29 May

“Bucharest in laughing with festCO” is the theme of the 14th Edition of the Romanian Comedy Festival - festCO 2016, organised by the Comedy Theatre, in partnership with the Town Hall of Bucharest Municipality, during 21-29 May.
This year, the Romanian Comedy Festival will set up outdoors events, in different locations from the ones the viewers were used to. Thus, festCO is moving from the Old Town to „Al. I. Cuza” and Tineretului Parks, offering improvisation shows, screenings, street animations, book launchings, concerts, conferences and theatre performances – all meant to revive the flavour of the inter-bellum period.
“Cinematheque festCo” Section is organised in partnership with the „Romanian Film Caravan”, and the Romanian comedy features included in this programme will be screen in the „Al. I. Cuza” and Tineretului Parks. Thus, Bucharest viewers will have the opportunity to watch recent Romanian productions, such as: Restul e tăcere/The Rest is Silence (directed by Nae Caranfil), Minte-mă frumos/Lie to Me (directed by Iura Luncașu) and București NonStop/Bucharest Non-Stop (directed by Dan Chișu).
Admission to all screenings will be free of charge, within the limit of available seats.
