On Thursday, 30 June, HBO scheduled five Romanian films, of which for shorts and a feature-length. These productions will be also available on HBO GO.

The evening will kick off with the film
Muntele magic/Magic Mountain (directed by
Anca Damian) broadcast at 20:00.
An animated docudrama, the film is the biography of Adam Jacek Winker. His life is turned upside down in the '80s, when he imagines he is a knight of the 20th century and

leaves France to join commander Massoud in his fight against the soviet occupation in Afghanistan.
From 21:30, HBO will present the short
Cai putere/Horse Power, directed by
Daniel Sandu. Each year, Mihai, with the help of his friends, takes his motorcycle up in his flat at the 10th floor in order to protect it during the winter, and then brings it back down when spring comes. But this year, Mihai discovers how fragile friendships can become.
Another Romanian short will be on at 22:00,
Verigheta/Wedding Ring, directed by
Gabriel Achim. The husband, played by
Gabriel Spahiu, drops his wedding ring under a refrigerating box in a supermarket. Trying to hide this from his wife, played by
Mihaela Sîrbu, he will turn this day into a memorable one for both of them.
From 22:15, HBO will broadcast the short
Ramona, directed by
Andrei Crețulescu, which ends the trilogy that was started with
Bad Penny in 2013, and carried on with
Kowalski in 2014.

The Romanian film evening on HBO will be ended with
Dispozitiv 0068, directed by Radu Bărbulescu. A sniper, played by
Toma Cuzin, settles in an old lady's apartment in order to secure the perimeter during a NATO summit. There he discovers the owner of the flat, a semi-paralysed elderly lady who never speaks. Once her carer leaves, the two of them remain alone in an awkward silence. Suddenly, the old lady asks the sniper for something that will change both their lives.
